I can't believe the amount of hair she has and it is so wavy! I am so sorry that you have had to go through this, but if He leads us to it, he will lead us through it. As a parent, I know how scary it can be when your child is in danger. My son, Brady, had a brain aneurisim (spelling?) when he was 17. He is 21 and third year of college. Doing Great. And as you watch "your babies with their babies". But than there is this helplessness you have when you also see them (your child) hurting and there is nothing you can do to help...except pray...and be there. Tatum is such a beautiful baby (OF COURSE!), and I know that she will continue to improve and soon be home with you and Brodie boy. I love you all so much, and if it is possible for us to draw closer to each other...we have drawn even closer during this experience. Reminds me alot of three years ago, difference circumstances. I hate to be leaving to go back to Arkansas tomorrow. I want to stay here and be with you and Tatum. I want to do something to make all this better for you. But I can't. A wise woman (my mom) once told me. When your child is small and falls down, it's a natural thing to...help them up, clean them off and if needed put a bandaid on the boo boo, and kiss the pain away. But when your child (grandchild) is hurting like I know you two are right now, the instinct that comes so natural when their were small kicks in, but there is nothing you can do, and it makes you feel soooo helpless! I love you both, and oh how much I love Tatum. I am praying for her quick recovery, and her ability to soon be home with you. Thanks for allowing me to share this joyful, but also emotional time with you. Needless to say, I will be coming back VERY soon, for more hugs and kisses!!!
