Tatum is beautiful! I can't believe the amount of hair she has and it is so wavy!

I am so sorry that you have had to go through this, but if He leads us to it, he will lead us through it.

As a parent, I know how scary it can be when your child is in danger.
My son, Brady, had a brain aneurisim (spelling?) when he was 17. He is 21 and third year of college. Doing Great.

I will continue to think of you. Summer, you look beautiful and Chris, very handsome!

Isn't holding your child one of the most wonderful things?

We are praying for each of you! This morning we asked for prayers for the baby and for both of you.

I tried to send these Bible verses to you last night but don't know if they reached you.

Psalm 139:16-18

The prayer in my S.S. Class was a confirmation of these verses. The woman who led the prayer did not know this.

There is such joy and unbelievable excitement, when you see your grandchild coming into the world. And as you watch "your babies with their babies". But than there is this helplessness you have when you also see them (your child) hurting and there is nothing you can do to help...except pray...and be there. Tatum is such a beautiful baby (OF COURSE!), and I know that she will continue to improve and soon be home with you and Brodie boy. I love you all so much, and if it is possible for us to draw closer to each other...we have drawn even closer during this experience. Reminds me alot of three years ago, difference circumstances. I hate to be leaving to go back to Arkansas tomorrow. I want to stay here and be with you and Tatum. I want to do something to make all this better for you. But I can't. A wise woman (my mom) once told me. When your child is small and falls down, it's a natural thing to...help them up, clean them off and if needed put a bandaid on the boo boo, and kiss the pain away. But when your child (grandchild) is hurting like I know you two are right now, the instinct that comes so natural when their were small kicks in, but there is nothing you can do, and it makes you feel soooo helpless! I love you both, and oh how much I love Tatum. I am praying for her quick recovery, and her ability to soon be home with you. Thanks for allowing me to share this joyful, but also emotional time with you. Needless to say, I will be coming back VERY soon, for more hugs and kisses!!! I am so proud of what great parents you are!!!! That is no surprise!!!

Hello...

Thank you guys so much for taking the time to post these comments and pictures - we love seeing Tatum and also appreciate knowing exactly what to pray for where she is concerned. Our prayers are also directed toward the both of you - that God would give you continued strength and peace.

Like you, we're comforted to know that there is nothing harmful going on. However, the process to recovery is still hard as it is never easy to see your child feel pain. So, we will continue our prayers and look forward to hearing how Ms. Tatum progresses each day. Praise God that we can trust in His power to comfort, heal and protect our children.

We'll call soon - we are just wanting the two of you to have plenty of time to be with Tatum. Also, we know that you have many calls, texts, etc. Please know that if you need anything you can call us - day or night - and we'll be right there!

We love you ~ Davis Fam
