I have cried few times in my life. When my parents split up, two days after my grandfather died, and when I exchanged vows with Summer. They aren’t “alligator” tears, but they are real. Today I learned I was having a little girl. Yep, you heard it right - WE ARE HAVING A GIRL!
An ol’ friend from college this week enlightened me that I will never be the same after a little girl. The day she crawls into my lap, smushes my face between her small hands and says these four words “daddy, i love you!” I will go to pieces. I’m sure the words to follow those words will be “can I have…” What can I say but yes.

So happy for you guys. What an amazing year you have ahead of you. Enjoy every moment, record everything, take millions of pictures, smother her with hugs and kisses, let patience and love rule. Remember, God has given her to you for a time, such an awesome responsibility. Make Him proud, and help her become a world changer. Love you guys, talk about you often, so proud of your lives and witness. Summer, I read your interview, fabulous. Keep shining!!!
Love, Christine
Hooray for girlie McCool. I can’t wait for Summer the remix, because I’m sure she’ll be just like her Mom. And even better when Grandma, Mom, and the little girl are all together…watchout!
Wonderful news! And I am so glad to have a new little 3rd cousin. Keep me posted. Although it has been forever since I saw you, Chris, and I have never seen Summer, I can’t help but feel very close to you since I have wandered through this website. Well done! Don’t let “baby” keep you from keeping it up. It is great.
Love, Margaret
Where have you been McCool.
Hey Summer, just wanted to say how sorry I am that I couldn’t make it to your baby shower. Everything in the world that could go wrong, HAS. Anyway, I am so excited for you and Chris! Being a Mom is so awesome! You think you would do anything for Chris, wait ’til Ms. Tatum gets here! The sacrifice is great but the rewards are unmeasureable! Hopefully I will be able to see you next time you come in!
Love and miss ya,
Melissa
